Discover the joys of upcycling furniture
Unless furniture is made from 100% metal or wood without any paint or other treatments, it cannot be easily recycled. Unfortunately, if you get rid of your furniture through a council collection or clean-up, it will likely end up in landfill. With the rise of 'fast furniture' it's not uncommon to see furniture illegally dumped in the streets, which has a high cost for councils and the environment.
We want to ensure Australians know there are other options available, like upcycling, to save pre-loved furniture! Upcycling not only saves furniture from landfill, but it also allows you to have incredible one-of-a-kind pieces in your home.
