Did you know steel cans and aerosol cans eg dog food cans, baby food cans, milo tins, hairspray and deoderant cans can be recycled in the Sutherland Shire. For Household Fluorescent Globes: Household Chemical CleanOut. See Chemical CleanOut and Community Recycling Centres for event locations or Community Recycling Centre locations. Sutherland Shire Council Customer Service Centre- 4 Eton St, Sutherland Engadine Community Centre (NICAN) 1034 - 1036 Old Princes Highway, Engadine Menai Community Centre (3Bridges) 34 Allison Cres, Menai Broken globes will NOT be accepted at any of the Community Centres or Council's Customer Service Centre . These should be placed in a bag and care should be taken when handling them. They can be disposed of for recycling at a Chemical CleanOut Event or Community Recycling Centre. For household batteries only: Household Chemical CleanOut.
