Please do not place recyclables in plastic bags - place them loosely in your recycling bin. Remove lids from bottles and jars - by doing this, you make the recycling process much more simple. Please give bottles and containers that held food or drink a quick rinse. To conserve water, wash them in dishwashing water after washing up (soak overnight for difficult to remove food remnants e.g. peanut butter jars). Save space in your recycling bin by flattening cardboard boxes, milk cartons and plastic bottles and crushing aluminium cans. Place sharp lids from steel cans inside the can and squeeze gently at the top to enclose.
If you need a replacement kerbside recycling container, please contact Customer Service on 9205 2200.
