Please put ONLY the allowable items in the recycling bin. In the Blacktown local government area, we collect 83 tonnes of recycling per weekday. All items must be sorted into different types of materials before being re-manufactured into new goods. The 'wrong' items can cause safety hazards for the recycling workers. 'Wrong' items can also damage the machinery used for sorting.
