This site is part of the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme – all households and small businesses can recycle computers and TVs for free at this site.This is a Paintback site. No fee applies.Paintback is a cost-effective solution for households and trade painters to remove unwanted paint and packaging. This program is the first such national program in the world to be developed and voluntary run by the paint industry. More than a million litres of unwanted paint has been diverted from landfill in the first year. # 1300 390 380This is a community recycling centre. This centre accepts the following products:- Paints- Gas Bottles- Fire Extinguishers - Motor Oils- Other Oils- Car Batteries- Household Batteries - Smoke Detectors -Fluro Globes and TubesSee centres website for an extensive list of accepted products.Proof of Tweed Shire residency required to receive FREE recycling of select items and Tweed Shire waste rates.
