The Pooraka Resource Recovery Centre is open to the general public for household loads and can accept trucks up to a 3 tonne tare.

Pick-up details: Residents of the City of Salisbury, City of Playford and Town of Gawler can use a hard waste service to recycle large items that cannot be placed in the yellow-top kerbside bin. You can choose to have your items collected from the verge, in front of your property or you can use a hard waste drop-off code and take your items to one of two local Resource Recovery Centres.
