As Kempsey's main waste transfer station this is the best place to take your recycling. There is also a ReUse Shop where bargains can be found.
Recycling is free or at subsidized cost that helps Council cover the processing/ transportation expenses.
This is a community recycling centre. This centre accepts the following products:
- Paints
- Gas Bottles
- Fire Extinguishers
- Motor Oils
- Other Oils
- Car Batteries
- Household Batteries
- Smoke Detectors

Additional information: Oil, paint and hazardous household chemicals are only taken free in small domestic quantities - large or commercial quantities should be collected from your site by licensed HAZMAT contractors (like Transpacific) for proper recycling and disposal.
