Reverse Garbage is a not-for-profit creative reuse centre based in Marrickville, in Sydney’s inner west. We redirect commercial and industrial waste from landfill to a new life with educators, artists, upcyclers, DIY enthusiasts, tinkerers, set builders, window dressers, community organisations, festivals, charities, and more.Reverse Garbage was established in 1975 by a group of teachers who were determined to help the environment. To this day, education is a major focus for our reuse resources. We run a sustainability education program that caters for all ages and abilities from 2- 102.Our Reverse Garbage Warehouse is open to the public 7 days a week to purchase a variety of reusable materials and resources at considerably discounted prices.
